Located in the heart of Telluride’s historic fabric, Tellaganset is a thoughtful infill project shaped by its context and crafted with restraint.
The duplex sits between a tall triplex and a single-family home, stepping its massing to create a quiet transition along the block. Gable rooflines, recessed entries, and a porch at street level keep the scale grounded and pedestrian-friendly.
Materials—stone, vertical barnwood, charred siding, and patinated copper—were chosen to age with grace, echoing the language of both past and present.
Designed to be both modest and enduring, Tellaganset brings new life to one of the last open lots in the East Depot/Gondola Subdivision—respecting the town grid, the landmark district, and the rhythm of the street.
